Buy Gold And Silver Coins For Security

http://gemsnloans.com/
Immediately following the 2017 presidential election, gold prices dropped an estimated $1.50 per ounce after an initial spike. However, despite this flux nearing the end of last year, gold has long been considered a reliable investment during turbulent times. In other words, its value will remain steady or even increase as the market changes.

Gold bullion coins, which sell in the millions weekly, tap into the allure of investing in gold. American Eagle and Canadian Maple Leaf gold coins have high gold purity and are easily bought and sold through precious metals dealers like Gems N’ Loans Temecula. The price of the 1-ounce, 24-karat Maple Leaf approximately matches gold’s spot price and experienced a tremendous rise between 2005 and 2011, when the price of gold more than quadrupled.

An important part of buying and selling coins depends on timing and market value. These variables often change and present opportune moments to capitalize on your assets. Coin dealers in Oceanside can also be a great help and have access to this information.

While the internet is skewing the traditional coin seasons, the two best times of the year to sell your coins are still around the FUN show in January and at the summer ANA in July or August. One dealer in particular is the Gems N’Loans Coin Center, there qualified staff are always available to answer questions and offer fair market value for gold and silver coins.

Ultimately, selling a coin yourself on consignment or through an auction is likely to be better when people are in the mood to buy coins, and not preoccupied with summer vacation or Winter holidays. Either way you look at, investing in coins can be a viable move for your financial portfolio.

GOLD COIN NUMBERS/COMMEMORATIVES

IT SEEMS AS THOUGH WE KEEP HAVING TO LEARN LOT OF NEW
INFORMATION EVERY TIME WE LEARN ABOUT SOMETHING.

FOR EXAMPLE,  GOLD COINS ARE NOT ALL THE SAME WHEN IT
COMES TO THE PERCENTAGE OF GOLD IN THE COIN.  TAKE A LOOK!
REMEMBER, MOST OF THE GOLD COINS DO NOT HAVE THE NUMBER OR
KARATAGE STAMPED ON THEM..  THEY ARE MORE LIKELY TO HAVE
THE AMOUNT OF TROY OUNCES--AS IN 1, 1/2, 1/4,1/10, AND 1/20.  THIS IS
TYPICALLY ON THE "BULLION" COINS--THE ONES THAT HAVE NOT  BEEN
CIRCULATED.

..999 OR .9999  THIS IS "PURE" GOLD.  YOU WILL SEE THIS ON CANADIAN
(24K)                MAPLE LEAF COINS,  AUSTRIAN PHILHARMONICS,
CHINA PANDAS ETC.  SOME OF THE MAPLE LEAF COINS
ARE .999 AND SOME ARE .9999.

.9867 (23.68K)  AS FAR AS I KNOW YOU WILL ONLY COME INTO CONTACT
WITH THIS ON AUSTRIAN 4 AND 1 DUCAT COINS----AND
SOME OF THE NEW AUSTRIAN COMMEMORATIVES.  THESE
COINS DO NOT HAVE THE NUMBER OR KARATAGE

.916 (22K)         THESE ARE AMERICAN EAGLES--KRUGERRANDS, ETC.
                           AGAIN--NOT MARKED ON THE COINS.

.900 (21.6K)      THIS IS 90% GOLD.  MANY EUROPEAN COUNTRIES AND
MEXICAN GOLD COINS ARE .900.  RARELY (IF EVER) MARKED.

.750 (18K)         THESE 2 ARE THE DOMAIN OF COMMEMORATIVE COINS--NOT
.500 (12K)         CIRCULATED OR BULLION COINS.  THESE MAY HAVE THE
NUMERALS AND THE AMOUNT OF GOLD IN TROY OUNCES
                           STAMPED ON THEM.

WHAT IS A COMMEMORATIVE COIN?

COINS HAVE BEEN USED TO COMMEMORATE (HONOR) SIGNIFICANT
EVENTS, PEOPLE, ORGANIZATIONS, AND ANNIVERSARIES FOR CENTURIES.
IN ANCIENT TIMES, COINS WERE MINTED TO CELEBRATE VICTORIES OF
WARS AND TO HONOR GODS AND RULERS. IN MODERN TIMES, IN THE

Where To Buy Gold Coins in Oceanside

How to Locate a Reputable Coin Dealer

http://gemsnloanscoincenter.com/
These days there is an abundance of coins on the market that are genuine, and occasionally there are some fakes and replicated coins that turn up. You need to know that the dealer you consult with is legitimate and been in the business for some time. a coin dealer's financial stability is a good indicator of the likelihood that he'll be around for a long time and financially able to provide recompense.

A good way to determine the safety of a dealer, would be to verify that they are vetted by their peers before being permitted to join a guild, or sell openly by the public. If a coin dealer has a bad reputation, or isn't respected by their own community, they are probably not a good choice to do business with.

Gems N’ Loans Coins Center of Oceanside has been doing business for 25 plus years, and is well known in the community with many satisfied customers. Now that we have out of the way, let’s talk about what to look for!

A Coin Exchange on Pacific Coast Highway

The Best Thing About Coin Dealers

http://www.gemsnloanscoincenter.com/
There are two major categories of coin dealers the retailer, and the wholesaler that aggressively seeks to bring new material into the marketplace, and often attends coin shows, local auctions, and runs advertising offering to buy coins. Most of this material is sold in bulk lots to retail-based dealers.

One of the best ways to prepare yourself for the seasoned coin dealer, would be to know the wholesale prices he or she pays for their coins. A commonly used standard in U.S. coins is the Coin Dealer Newsletter, this is printed on grey paper and comes out weekly.

A buyer needs solid information on which to base their calculations of what to pay. An inventory is usually a starting point for discussion. It doesn’t mean the dealer doesn’t want to see what you have. He will ask if and when you are ready for the next step.

COINS OR BARS??? WHICH IS BETTER AS AN INVESTMENT?

I have had many new customers ask me what is better
to buy for an investment--bars or coins.

In order to compare what they cost and their desirability, I have done some
research online comparing prices---premiums--availability, etc.

We are going to look at the American Eagle, Canadian Maple Leaf, and the South
African Krugerrand for the coins.  We similarly are going to compare the Credit Suisse,
the PAMP bar, and a PERTH Mint 1 oz bar.

I searched a major online coin dealer--and here are the prices/premiums (all gold)

1 oz gold eagle        SPOT + $68                       1 oz Credit Suisse Bar  SPOT + $40

1 oz Krugerrand      SPOT + $42                       1 oz PAMP Bar             SPOT + $38

1 oz Maple Leaf      SPOT + $48                       1 oz PERTH Mint Bar  SPOT + $38

All of the above contain 1 Troy Oz of gold.--But the American Eagle and the
Krugerrand contain an additional alloy  (Silver/Copper) to make the coins more
wear resistant. This means that those 2 coins weigh 33.933 grams--1 Troy oz is
31.1033 grams. So those 2 coins have 33.933 grams of 22 karat gold --but the
amount of 24k gold is the same in all the coins and bars.

The coins are "RANDOM YEARS"  --The newest coins will be higher in price.

Also, the respective governments (USA, Canada, and South Africa) guarantee the
content of the three coins.  The Australian government guarantees the Perth Mint
Bar.  The Swiss bars (Credit Suisse and PAMP) are guaranteed by the respective
banks.

According to hardassetsalliance.com (Hard Assets Alliance) "All else being
equal, it is easier to sell a 1 oz. gold eagle coin than a 1 oz. gold bar."

Why Invest in Coins?

http://www.gemsnloanscoincenter.com/
Coins show some impressive returns historically. Here we provide answers to why coins have returned over 15 % annually in the last 10 years and are recognized as a top alternative investment comparable with fine art, classic cars and stamps.

At the Coin Center in Oceanside, the price of a coin is driven by supply-demand economics. As the supply of investment grade coins is fixed and demand is increasing prices are bound to go up in the long term.

Coins are price stable medium to long term when compared to other investments. This is simply because demand is increasing, most recent with added interest from BRIC countries.

What Are People Saying About Coin Dealers

Coins in Oceanside That Aren't Crypto

http://gemsnloanscoincenter.com/

Cryptocurrencies can be extremely hard to wrap our heads around, especially since they are virtual and not held in our hands. The Blockchain is shrouded in computing language and terminology that is technical in nature. This is a huge impediment to many who are interested in the crypto space, or just a real life tangible investment.

Oceanside coins have the status of legal tender and are produced by a sovereign government's mint. On each side of a coin there is an intricate design, this often varies year-to-year. Most coins feature a face value and year stamped on the front, and their purity and weight is inscribed somewhere on the back of the coin.

In addition to purchasing standard gold and silver coins, an investor can order something worth its weight and is less riskier than investing crypto currencies.

WHO GRADED AND SLABBED YOUR COIN??

IF YOU ARE THINKING OF BUYING A GRADED AND "SLABBED" COIN,
THERE ARE SEVERAL THINGS THAT YOU NEED TO KEEP IN MIND":

1.  YOU MUST HAVE A WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF THE GRADING SCALE
USED.  THE FIRST FILTER IS "DOES IT LOOK LIKE A MS**?  NO MATTER
WHAT COMPANY'S NAME IS ON THE SLAB, IF IT DOESN'T LOOK RIGHT
     DO NOT BUY IT!

2.   KNOW THE NAME OF THE GOOD COMPANIES!  PCGS AND NGC ARE
THE TWO THAT SEEM TO DOMINATE THE MARKET.  IGC SEEMS TO
BE AN UP AND COMING COMPANY.  BUT FOR ANY OTHERS THAN THESE
THREE I GO TO GOOGLE AND DO RESEARCH.

3.   FOR EXAMPLE, I FOUND 2 SLABBED COINS BY  "NATIONAL NUMISMATIC
CERTIFICATION."  ONE WAS A 1 RUPEE SILVER COIN FROM INDIA.
THE SLAB BORE THE MARKINGS 1913-B AND MS64..
HOWEVER, THE COIN WAS A 1912!!  I OF COURSE HAVE NO INFORMATION
AS TO WHEN THE 1912 RUPEE WAS PUT IN THE SLAB--BUT LOOKED FOR
OBVIOUS DAMAGE WHERE THE SLAB MIGHT HAVE BEEN OPENED TO NO
AVAIL.  THE FUNNY THING WAS THAT THE COIN SEEMED TO BE IN THE
      MS RANGE.

4.   WHEN I GOOGLED THE NAME THE REPORTS WERE MOSTLY BAD..
ONE OF THE REMARKS SAID "SCAM ARTIST"  I HAVE NO INFORMATION
      EITHER WAY ABOUT THIS.

I JUST WANT TO REMIND YOU TO DO YOUR RESEARCH!!
